Pastor Jason is a straightforward communicator who teaches God's word through innovative ways. He is gifted at connecting with the culturally diverse audience that calls the Lakeside church their home. After recognizing that it was time to implement the vision that God gave him in 2005, Pastor Hitte began the ministry of the Lakeside church in November of 2007.

In 1998, Pastor Jason began his career as a law enforcement officer and served for over five years as a detective in Florida. Through that experience Pastor Jason was exposed to the hurting, the forgotten, and those individuals that most people have signed off. It is that burden that fuels his passion for the Lakeside church. Pastor Jason has a heart to reach out to all people, of all classes and backgrounds with the message of God's grace, mercy, and unconditional love.

He is not only a gifted communicator but a musician and worship leader as well. Pastor Jason is passionate about worship, and the worship experiences at the Lakeside church reflect that passion.

Pastor Hitte graduated with honors from Southeastern University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Church Leadership. Pastor Jason is married to his lovely wife, Caroline, and they have 3 beautiful children; Ashleigh, Jase, and Justin.
